Alterra Bio Energy is underway with construction of a Bio Diesel Factory in Plains Georgia.

The new facility will utilize crude soybean oil as its primary source of oil from which to produce Bio Diesel, and the plant will produce 30,000,000 gallons annually.

One of the key factors in locationg the plant in Plains was access to the Heart of Georgia Railroad.? Quality rail service is important, as it will be the primary mode to inboud raw material and ship out the finished Bio Diesel fuel.

Current plans call for the new facility to be in operation by November of 2007.
