| Southeast Aggregates Expands to Statesboro |
|
Southeast Aggregates operates an aggregate distribution facility in Metter Georgia, serving local construction companies with GAB and size stone for projects in the region. With increasing demand and the tremendous growth in the Statesboro Georgia area, Southeast Aggregates is nearing completion of a new distribution facility on the south side of Statesboro to better serve customers in that area. The new site is located on the Georgia Midland Railroad and new track has been constructed to allow Southeast Aggregates to unload fifteen car units of stone. Jerry Brown Southeast Aggregates owner and manager believes Statesboro represents long term growth potential for his company, and says that placing the?new plant at its current location would not have been logical without the GMR available to serve his material transportation needs by?rail. The new facility should be ready to serve customers at its new location by Septermer 1st of 2007. |
