Southeast Railcar and Locomotive Services Inc. began operations on October 1st 2007, at its new facility located between Plains and Americus Georgia.

The new faciltiy located on the Heart of Georgia Railroad offers a full array of car repair and maintenance services.  By locating on the HOG, the new facility can receive direct interchange from either NS or CSX, saving car owners multiple moves to reach car repair services.

Mr. Frank Wilkerson has joined Southeast Railcar as Vice President and General Manager, and brings 30 years of car repair and service knowledge to the company.  Mr. Wilkerson was most recently General Manager of Fitzgeral Railcar Company, a position he has held for the last 25 years.

" I am excited about the opportunity to build a state of the art repair facility, and feel that the location on the HOG will allow our company to provide outstanding service to car owners operating fleets in the southeast," said Mr. Wilkerson.
